Sunseeker’s largest ever superyacht, the 155 Yacht – built by the yard for serial Sunseeker owner Eddie Jordan – has broken cover at the firm’s yard in Poole as the bare hull was moved between sheds. “The operation involved meticulous planning and execution with literally no room for error given the monstrous dimensions involved,” the yard says.

The yacht is now in position for fit-out. A clear gel coat has been used in the hull construction, with the resin showing through and making the hull appear brown in colour. However, the yard says: “With the almost unlimited colour choice available, we’re keeping the finished colour for this particular yacht under wraps for the moment.” The yacht is due for completion next year.
